Golden West (16-17, 7-8) used a hit by pitch in the sixth inning by Jeremiah Vison to score the games only run. Vison after being hit by a pitch to reach first base stole second base two pitches into the next batter. After a Justin Marquez pop out to the first baseman, Vison then stole third base on a very close play. Vison turned a hit by pitch into a triple with one out and after a Louie Canjura stikeout, Jeff Zordani delivered with an RBI double down the left field line to easily score Vison from third base.
