Huntington Beach Calif. - Golden West Men's soccer faced off against San Diego City College on Tuesday, Sept. 11th, and came out victorious with a final score of 3-2.
The first half of the game came and went with no scoring from either team. It was in the second half that the first 2 goals of the game came from Victor Velasquez (Santa Ana, CA/ Godinez HS). Minutes later, Jose Ramirez found the goal again and put the Rustlers up 3-0.
San Diego City responded with two goals of their own bringing the score to 3-2. San Diego had a hard time finding the net thanks to Diego Chacon (Stanton / Rancho Alamitos HS) with 1 save and Antonio Flores (Paramount, CA/Parmount HS) who had 2 saves.
