Golden West College Women’s Soccer Earns United Soccer Coaches National Ranking Award
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. - The Golden West College women's soccer program has been recognized on the national stage, earning a United Soccer Coaches Rankings Award for the 2025 season after finishing No. 7 in the National Junior College Division III final rankings.
The honor reflects a landmark year for the Rustlers and underscores the program's continued rise among the nation's elite junior college programs. The final national ranking places Golden West among the top teams in the country and highlights the consistency, resilience, and competitive excellence displayed throughout the 2025 campaign.
"This achievement truly sets our program apart," said Golden West head coach. "Being ranked in the top 10 nationally is a testament to the hard work, commitment, and belief shown by our student-athletes every day. Golden West's national ranking caps a historic season that featured one of the most successful runs in program history, marked by runner-up finish in the 3C2A State Championships, timely scoring, and strong leadership across the roster. The Rustlers consistently competed at a high level against quality opposition and playing their best soccer late into the season.
The United Soccer Coaches Rankings Award recognizes programs that finish the season ranked among the top teams in their respective divisions, serving as a benchmark for sustained excellence and competitive achievement.
